Cincinnati Transit Authority plays the music of Chicago
Cincinnati Transit Authority returns to the Sorg Opera House stage with the sounds of ‘Chicago.’ CTA is an eight-piece band paying tribute to the tremendous horn-driven sound of Chicago Transit Authority. Originating in Cincinnati, the band consists of some of the area’s best Rock, Jazz, and Blues musicians who perform renditions of the iconic Chicago tunes, concentrating on the Terry Kath era. Back then, the band was revered for its groundbreaking arrangements backed by their tight horn section.
The Sorg is thrilled to be able to reawaken that era with this special concert. Expect to hear all the great hits including “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It is,” “Make Me Smile,” “Beginnings,” “Question 67 & 68,” “Saturday In The Park,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Introduction,” “Wake up Sunshine,” and many more.
Free parking behind the building off of Broad Street and off of First Street.
