In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend, the Museum of Spiritual Art is presenting a preview weekend of its latest collection. The collection will premiere in April 2019. It will contain 12 oil paintings by artist Marlena Hebenstreit that depict of the life of Dr. King with an emphasis on the spirituality of his mission and message. During Martin Luther King Weekend, the Museum will have three of the paintings on display. There will be extended hours to allow patrons more opportunity to view the paintings. All of the galleries in the Museum will be available for viewing. Museum hours that weekend will be 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 18th, Saturday, January 19th, and Monday, January 21st. In addition, the artist will be present between Noon and 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 20th to meet guests. Marlena will share the experiences that have influenced her works. The Museum asks a $5 donation per person for admittance.
