Virtual Language of Art
Join the DAI for a virtual version of the Language of Art, the museum's book club program, on Zoom!
Dr. Peter Doebler, Kettering Curator of Asian Art, will explore themes from the reading One Hundred Poets, One Poem Each: A Treasury of Classical Japanese Verse (Penguin, 2018) and make connections to our current special exhibition, Samurai, Ghosts and Lovers: Yoshitoshi's Complete 100 Aspects of the Moon. This interactive online program will feature remarks by Dr. Doebler as well as Q&A.
Two sessions will be offered, on Saturday, August 15 and Thursday, August 27, 12-1 p.m. each day.
This virtual Language of Art program is FREE, but pre-registration is required (maximum 10 participants per session). Once registered, please look for an email confirmation with virtual access codes.
